Nationality : Candidate must be Indian citizen of India.

Pay Scale : Agniveers will be given an attractive customised monthly package along with Risk and Hardship allowances as applicable in the three services Army, Navy and Air force. On completion of four years (engagement period), Agniveers will be paid one-time Seva Nidhi package which shall comprise their contribution including accrued interest thereon and matching contribution from the Government equal to the accumulated amount of their contribution including interest as indicated below.

Exit After 4 Year: Rs 11,71,000 (approximately 12 Lakh) as Seva Nidhi Package.

1. Agniveer (General Duty)

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have pass class 10th/ HSLC with minimum 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.

Age Limit : Candidates age should be between less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 23 years.

2. Agniveer (Technical)

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have pass class 12th/ HSSLC examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.

Age Limit : Candidates age should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 23 years.

3. Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical)

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have pass class 12th examination in any stream with 60% marks in aggregate and 50% in each subject. English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory.

Age Limit : Candidates age should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 23 years.

4.(a) Agniveer Tradesmen 10th Pass

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have pass class 10th/ HSLC examination with having 33% marks in each subject.

Age Limit : Candidates age should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 23 years.

4.(b) Agniveer Tradesmen 8th Pass

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have pass class 8th examination with having 33% marks in each subject.

Age Limit : Candidates age should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 23 years.

On 21st June 2022, Indian Air Force has released an official notification regarding the recruitment of AGNIVEER VAYU. As per the notification, application process starts from 24th June 2022. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can submit their application online for the first intake of AGNIPATH Scheme.

Age Limit : Candidates born between 29th December 1999 and 29th June 2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment is 23 years.

Examination Fee : Examination fee of Rs.250/- is to be paid by the candidate while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/ Internet Banking through payment gateway. The examination fee can also be paid by Challan payment at any Axis Bank Branch.

Educational Qualification :

A) Science Subjects : Candidates who are going to submit their application under Science Subjects category must have any one of the following educational qualification.

• Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Education Board listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
• Who have passed three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).
• Who have passed two years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Maths from State Education Boards/Councils which are listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

B) Other Than Science Subjects : Candidates who are going to submit their application under Other Than Science Subjects category must have any one of the following educational qualification.

• Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination in any subject approved by Central/ State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
• Who have passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
